Hello, I'm Megs!

Photographer/ Videographer

I first picked up a camera a good few years ago, started this page in August 2021, and my love for all things media really ignited in 2023.

Since then I’ve been lucky enough to capture moments across rowing, football, rugby, and plenty of equestrian events. Photography has been my main focus, I’ve been working with @1stclassimages since May 2025, and recently I’ve  fallen in love with videography, developing in editing skills and capturing memories for lovely clients .

My goal with Megs Media Life is to capture people’s memories, experience amazing events and sports, keep improving my work, and meet brilliant like-minded people along the way.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m finishing my final year at university studying Sport & Exercise Science, or most likely spending time with my horse Lockie. I’ve taken part in around 17 different sports over the years, so I love capturing moments from all kinds of events, although eventing will always have a special place in my heart.

If you ever see me out and about at events, please do come and say hello! I’m always happy to chat about media, sport… or absolutely anything really, I do enjoy a good yap and a giggle!

My approach

My approach is all about keeping sessions natural, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. On competition days, I encourage riders to forget I’m even there so they can focus on their job, enjoying their horse, riding well, and soaking up the experience. I always meet clients at their trailer or wagon first, giving us a moment to chat, settle nerves, and ease into the session so everything feels calm and authentic.

For training sessions, I’m happy to work around your plans, ideas, and goals, while also offering my own creative direction to make sure we capture all that magic content.

When working with businesses, I like to discuss ideas beforehand and welcome any example reels or inspiration you’d like me to draw from. On the day, I blend your vision with my own eye for storytelling to frame your brand in a way that feels true and engaging.
